Introduction
Most of us have probably said or heard someone say the phrase: "I'm bored" a hundred times in our lives, announcing to the world that they have free time( it even happens in our chatroom :O!). Too much free time that they don't know what to do with. In fact you will know that when you become older, you have less and less free time till you are an old retired person so be aware that you have a valuable resource on your hands and it's not a burden. I'm sure you know the phrase "Time is Money". Use your time wisely! Classes in school can be boring and you can resort to drawing doodles, checking your phone, but if you are there you might as well pay attention so you aren't clueless when the teacher calls on you.1. Find a Hobby
I really recommend this if you say I'm bored so many times that you lost count. Hobbies should be something that you enjoy and have fun in and not a job. Speaking of hobbies, uploading to Planet Minecraft is a hobby itself. There's a huge range of hobbies out there and usually there's a whole community doing the same thing. If you get super good at your hobby, sometimes you can probably enjoy success and recognition and it can help define you as a person. Some hobbies can be making YouTube videos(don't do it for the money kids), working out, painting, any kind of sports, drawing, writing, reading, reviewing, dancing, singing, magic tricks, model building, Rubix cube, lock-picking, video-games, yoyoing, and the list goes on and on. Just don't gamble... So go out there and have fun! :)2. Learn a Skill
If you got free time, you might as well put it to good use by working on your skills. Skills can go hand in hand with hobbies as most hobbies require some sort of skill. A skill is the ability to do something. That something can be basically anything, you can probably make up a weird skill. Anyways skills can be useful practically or impressing people. Some skills can include learning a foreign language, playing an instrument, beat-boxing, swimming, people skills, social skills, writing with your non dominant hand, doing a dunk on a basketball rim, eating contest champion, doing a split, etc. By the way if you look at the word skill, it has the word kill in it. o_O3. Be Grateful
If you are bored, you should be grateful for having the time to be bored. Boredom can lead you to new directions and probably why we have funny memes, cartoon shows, books, and video games like Minecraft. Be happy that you are bored and know that you have free time to enjoy doing whatever you wish.I would like to hear what you guys think in the comments below. Tell me what your hobbies are!
