I am here to tell anyone that reads this that gay jokes are NEVER funny. They really hurt people and drive them to suicide because they are homosexual. I have friends and my mom has friends that are gay and I didn't know until she told me. They are no different people and if they hear jokes being said about gay people they don't laugh along or they do but don't wanna. It hurts people deep inside to know that they are hated by so many people.

These people are everywhere in our society and you can be best friends with one and not even know it. They are exactly like you and are human beings. Why is gay marriage such a problem? Why do people hate an discriminate against them they are people too! I just want to let people know that do this to stop. People don't think your gay jokes are funny. THEY ARE NOT. Please don't make gay jokes or discriminate against them ever because it pains me to see all the gay jokes that are made at my school.

Have any of you ever seen the movie Bully? It is a very emotional movie about what bullying does to people. It has examples of gay jokes that hurt people. Even people like teachers do this. Role models of our society bully and hurt people that aren't exactly like them. A teacher sat down with a gay student and asked why she was a "faggot". That is a HORRIBLE term and should never be used ever. She said that "Faggots aren't allowed in this society" She would say to go do something bad to herself and the rest of the class laughed. It was awful noone in the class stopped it and the child came so near to suicide. It was her friends who kept her from it. She was kept off the vollebally team cus noone wanted to play with a "fag". If you see someone being bullied because of that, stop it or tell an adult. Be nice to them and you could save a life.
