Why do fans call him Notch? Why not call him marko or something else? Post in the comments what you think?

I think they call him notch because
he boosted up gaming a notch
he pushed up his talent a notch
he was top notch in the gaming industry
life can always be boosted up a "notch"
There are many more reasons they probably call him notch. I dont know why but maybe one of you could be correct!

Its probably because notch is kinda like a switch, know what I mean? So he is the "switch" of Minecraft, with out him Minecraft would not be "on". You have to understand that, Im not good at explaining.

He was "Nizzotch" on YouTube long before Minecraft had started.
The name has nothing to do with Minecraft or it's community.
