Like every online community we have our flaws. Spam leaks through the moderation gates. Hax overcome all else before them. Despite all this we have a perfectly normal, beautiful community who don't need no man.
People will forever be silly, posting bad and un-wanted things. It confuses me as to why several blogs pointing out obvious flaws were 'popular'. It's not like out of the entire internet, we are the worst community. Far from it, PMC for me personally has a better, friendlier and more interactive community than other websites. Granted this changes per person and is not steady results.
As 1upMiner said: "But if you're going just to make a blog complaining about the community and its 'downfalls' then you're just going to bring it down even more. " Quite rightly too, despite his blog being the final thing to provoke me to say this; PMC is not going downhill.
Any argument you have stating otherwise is invalid. A popular topic; mods not doing their jobs.
Funnily enough, us moderators do things aside from PMC! We lurk around IRL and make situations awkward. Sometimes we go away for extended periods of time, like normal users. While this may be stating the obvious, some people don't seem to grasp that we don't sit staring at the site all day long. Nor is there an immense force operating the moderation panels. There is about 30-40 mods, some inactive due to personal reasons, some active every other hour. There is one who we refer to as the admin, Cyprezz. One man who made this site and started it. Aside from Paril (who breaks everything anyway) the only one to be able to access the site's interior, to update, change and fix it.
While that only addresses one of the main arguments, think logically about the rest and both aspects of it. it's not so hard when you stop derping! :3
