1.) In this tutorial I will be using Winrar so I suggest you download that before anything. Just go to google and look up Winrar free download.
2.) Now that we have done that you need to find a Mod that you want to install.
To do this you can go to Youtube and look up Mods or if you have one in mind then download it. (Just google the Mod name and look for the download) Place that folder on your desktop when the download is complete.
3.) Alright now that you have done all of that, then you need to go to %appdata% in your start menu. (Look at picture #1)
4.) Now open up the Roaming folder. Should be the only thing to pop up.
5.) Go to .minecraft (Picture #2) Should be at the very top because of the "." at the beginning.
6.) Go to bin (Picture #3) Should be at the top because of the "b".
7.) Now open up Minecraft, not Minecraft 1.3.2 or Minecraft 1.3.1 etc. Open that up with Winrar (Picture #4)
8.) Open up your Mod folder with Winrar as well.
9.) Highlight all of the things in the mod (I will use the Timber-Mod [This is not my Mod I do not take credit for the creation of this mod, but this Mod is a very simple and effective Mod so that is why I used it.] to show you in Picture #5) You do not have to put some folders into .minecraft.
10.) Drag it all over into your Minecraft folder delete META-INF and play Minecraft with your newly installed Mod!!!
I really hope I helped you guys out today and if I did then please give me a diamond and check out my other stuff, later on I will be posting how to download a world into your Minecraft and possibly how to upload your own world on to PlanetMinecraft. This has been my very first Xpt3 Tutorial, if you would like a tutorial for yourself let me know and I will try to make one.
