Everybody wants to be a Youtube partner, mainly because you get paid a few cents for every ad watched by your Youtubers. Many people make a living off of Youtube Partnership, and some of them own custom t-shirts and technology. This sounds like the good life, and many people on Youtube desperately try to become partners. Yet, they all fail, and what they receive is what they don't want: hatred. This tutorial will include tips for how to be successful in your mission to being a Youtube Partner.

The Requirements
The Recorder
Obviously, you're going to need a recorder to record your Minecraft footage. If you use a Windows, you are can use Fraps, or Bandicam. In you use a Mac (also known as Macintosh), you can use Camtasia, Voila, or Screenflow.

The Editor
Now if you're going to put sweat, blood, and effort in your videos, you need an editor. Some of the basic editors include Windows Movie Maker (Windows), and IMovie (Mac). The more complicated and better editing editors include Sony Vegas Pro (Windows) and Final Cut Express (Mac).

The Youtube Account
Obviously, you are going to need a Youtube account. How else will you upload your videos? To make a Youtube account, go to www.youtube.com, and click Sign In. There, you should see the Create an Account button. Fill in the requirements for creating an account, and your account is now created! However, it would be wiser to read Tip 1: The Username first to get a username that makes people want to watch your videos.

Tip 1: The Username
So you're on a PVP server and you see this guy named SuperBoi12369. Instantly, you're thinking that he's probably a noob because he has numbers, and he just slapped the numbers on to play Minecraft. Next thing you know, he's dead.
The same concept applies to Youtube. If you have numbers in your username, people will think you just quickly created a username. The username adds creativity and cleverly describes you. People also believe that numbers in usernames are quite unprofessional. Because of this, people won't visit your channel as much if you have numbers included in the username. In conclusion, if you have numbers, you're dead.

Tip 2: Video Presentation
You decide to join another server, and see that their is a TNT firework display. You take a visit and see how it is. Next thing you know, you're dead because the TNT failed and everything exploded. Now you're probably thinking, "Wow, what a stupid server." Again, same thing applies to Youtube.
If your videos suck, no one is going to visit your channel often. You need to have funny, entertaining, videos. Now most wanna-be Youtubers just choose a survival map or just survive on regular Minecraft survival. That won't exactly work. You should try to be unique, and have something different from everybody else. Possibilities include:
1. Create your own adventure/survival map and play it
2. Start a series with a mod that nobody knows about
3. Start a building series where you gather materials to build enormous buildings

Tip 3: Be Unique
Most Youtubers have a special trait, which gives them the special comedic ability. If you want views, don't just be be boring. Show off you special variety of voices, or just rage a lot. It's your choice to be special. Now, don't just copy another Youtuber and rage a lot. Be different.

Tip 4: Too Young
So you're on another server and you see this guy who talks like this: "hey guys wut kinda ore is dis i cnt tell if its dimond or rdstone?" It's difficult to read right? Again, you're probably thinking, "Is this a kid or something, he has horrible spelling!" Next thing you know, he starts spamming the chat and stuff, and annoying the balls out of you.
Same thing applies to Youtube. For younglings, stop trying to be Youtube Partners. You're obviously too young to be on Youtube, in addition, you have a decade or two until you need a job. Plus, kids on Youtube receive so many hatred comments and dislikes.

Tip 5: Don't Advertise
While on another server, you find this guy who starts advertising for another server. He then begins to spam the chat, and then everybody gets mad at him. The came concept applies to Youtube.
Nobody likes advertisers. If you were to scroll through the comments of a popular Minecraft video, you would be finding people desperately trying to advertise themselves, yet what they receive is hatred most of the time. Since nobody likes advertisers, just don't use tags used by other popuar Youtubers, and don't spam videos so people can watch your videos.

Tip 6: Your Specialty
While on another server, you see that the owner of the server has given everybody five diamonds for being on the server for so long. They say its their special surprise.
Much like Minecraft, you should provide a surprise for your viewers. Not only will it gain viewers, but it will gain subscribers, which is another step forward to Partnership. Your surprises can vary from music videos to special 3D animations, whatever it will be, the choice is yours!

Tip 7: Skip the Boring Stuff
You decide to show your new Minecraft friend your new house you will be building. As you place the blocks, your friend begins to get bored, and ends up leaving, claiming that he was "busy."
If you're going to do boring stuff in your recordings, skip it. No one wants to see your new mine you're going to build, or the new house that will be built. You can be creative to make it better and provide a timelapse possibly.

Tip 8: Your Title
If you were defined as "The Eliminator" on a PVP server, people will fear you, because they believe that you are the strongest of the strongest in that server.
In Youtube, it's pretty much the same thing. If your Youtube title sucks, no one is going to watch your videos. When you're done recording, fight the most interesting thing in that video, and use that as your title. For example, you find over 13 diamonds, so your title can be "Diamond Massacre." People may be like, "Hm. What could've happened in this video?" Once they watch, you gain a few and one step closer to Youtube Partnership. In conclusion, your video title has to be interesting, interesting enough for someone to be attracted to your video.
