Do you ever have those days on Minecraft when you simply get tired of foraging for same old food, fighting same old mobs, or building same old (in my case, usually horrendously ugly) houses? If yes, here's the beginning of your new Minecraft bucket list: with 25 challenges, you're sure to be amused for quite a while... until then, you can add to it yourself!

1) Make yourself a fireworks show! Learn the way of the firework as you design (and set off) a marvelous show for you, your friends, and your friendly neighbor, the creeper.

2) Go mining - not just plain old mining. This is a race. Record how much iron, coal, iron, gold, redstone, emeralds, lapis lazuli, flint, obsidian and of course, diamond you can obtain in one hour.

3) Find a stronghold using the traditional way: Eyes of Ender (no cheating!)

4) Build yourself an Ender City. Houses for or against Endermen? Your call!

5) While you're at it, try to defeat the Ender Dragon using only snowballs or eggs.

6) Build a glass pyramid with a tunnel through it. On the top block on the exterior, unleash a bucket of water. Not watery enough? Build a glass underwater tunnel that lights up and connects islands or underwater buildings.

7) Star in your own Hunger Games - create your own epic arena and invite your friends, or join a server.

8) Feeling mean? Build massive walls of fire around mobs. We understand what happens when they try to escape (Muahaha!)

9) Go skydiving! (In creative mode, of course)

10) Pretend you're being Tarzan and dart up a bunch of jungle trees via vines. (It's actually a lot of fun)

11) Make your own parkour map, or try someone else's.

12) Recreate your house in real life on Minecraft.

13) Spawn Endermen in waterfalls or in the middle of the ocean.

14) This one's got plenty of room for creativity - build your own city! It should be in one style throughout (ex: medieval/modern/1900s/fantasy), include buildings such as stores, cafes, museums, movie theatres, arenas, apartments/ general stores, blacksmith forges, castles, moats/dragon egg temple. BE CREATIVE!

15) Build a TNT enclosure, trap mobs inside. KABOOM!

16) Start a mob war - your tamed wolf pets vs. zombies, even zombie pigmen,

17) Put your redstone skills to the test and build a giant crazy rollercoaster, Even cooler - have it pass through an NPC village, the jungle biome, even through an underwater tunnel or through an abandonned mine shaft.

18) Have a game of archery - either with arrows or TNT cannons. If you're playing with arrows, build yourself a target out of wool or different colours of wood and fire away. If it's TNT you're experimenting with, use a self-grown forest or even just a single tree to perfect your cannon-ing skills.

19) Try to kill 50 zombies in just one night.

20) Look up a specific style of architecture (ex: Mayan, Oriental, Medieval) and build a building in this style (from personal experience, pagodas can turn out very nice)

21) Rare drops contest! Compete with your friends! Kill as many monsters as you can in one night to compare loot in the morning. Largest amount and/or rarest drops win.

22) Heal 10 zombie villagers in one night.

23) Create a forest fire and attempt to extinguish it all before the entire forest is gone. (This one's a really difficult challenge if you wait more than a minute)

24) Take part in village life - build more houses, tend the crops, repopulate the village, trade, help ward off zombies.

25) Build a stronghold/mineshaft/underground dungeon with many traps; test your or your friend's agility.

Link your results and/or screenshots from the bucket list to this post and I'll check them out (or perhaps even dole out the diamonds) Happy Mining! :)
