When you're at minecraft.net, press the huge button that says profile, and after that there should be a button that lets you upload the skin you want to use. When you've found the file, press the ''upload'' button that right underneath that file-chooser button.
When you're done, there should be some green letters that says: Your skin has been successfully changed!
