Hello and welcome to 5M! This datapack currently adds 13 new mobs to the game, and 3 more are planned, aswell as new weapons and armor!

The Lek Lek lives in the humid swamps and drops cattails, which you can use to craft Bottles of Enchanting in a crafting table, recipe shown below. This creature is herd-based and will usually will spawn together in groups of three to six. They are unfortunately left defenseless, and are often hunted by zombies and other undead hunters. Their speed is their only advantage. The Lek Lek is actually amphibious and loves to swim, in fact it's capable of swimming as fast as an ordinary player in water.




The Ignis is a arrogant avian that has a quick temper; it hangs around hostile mobs in the dry, dry badlands. It also drops a red feather when killed, see the Soul Hound description for more info. Hilariously enough zombies hate these birds, but they can't seem to catch them, because of this the Ignis likes to taunt them and keep close. However if one does happen to hit the Ignis, let's just say it won't be happy...


Not a pleasant name, eh? Well, the Split Jaw spawns in underwater aquifers, and is extremely dangerous when in groups. The Split Jaw drops its spiny tail along with a chance to drop the razor sharp teeth from its terrifying jaw. The Split Jaws are oddly fascinated by the bioluminescence of the glowing squids and do not eat them surprisingly. The unique jaw of the creature is home to over 650 teeth, most of which is hidden in the second jaw, which is used to lock prey in its mouth.


The Soul Hound is a terrifying, nether-based creature which scouts the soul sand valley. It completely replaces all skeletons in the soul sand valley biome. The soul hound drops skull fragments and is hypnotized the the red feather. (DISCLAIMER: MUST BE HELD IN THE MAINHAND TO WORK) The skull fragments can be used to craft the Soul Hound Skull when mended together with netherite. Recipe shown below


The Skull is almost the same strength as a netherite helmet, so if you want a cool looking armor replacement here it is!(Must right-click the skull to equip)


The Treasure Golem is a hulking golem that can be built and destroyed by the player. It drops a treasure chest full of amazing booty, including the Golem Cudgel, which is a new weapon stronger than netherite swords! This may seem super great, but you must embark on a long journey to find the ever so rare Treasured Heartfish to summon the golem. Here's how to build it:


Simply place the Treasured Heartfish on top of the emerald block and you have yourself a terrifying golem!


The Griffin is a friendly mob that roams the taiga biome, and protects its home from zombies, skeletons, or witches! It's skin blends in with the taiga allowing it to hide in plain sight. However the sight of any evil works, such as undead mobs or witchcraft, will trigger the griffin to viciously attack the prey without hesitation. The pine taigas are well protected under the griffin's watchful eye.


The Budder is a adorable, mouse-like creature that hops around the meadows of the overworld. The Budder's texture and model can be changed by throwing any flower on top of it! Careful though, the wither rose variant isn't very nice. The Budders love oxeye daisies and cornflowers, they enjoy the presence of sheep and try to keep close to them. When adventuring for Budders look for those things. Budders also have symbiotic relationships with flowers, for they use the photosynthesis of the flower to feed themselves, and the flower is transported to sunlight by the budder. The wither variant also has a defense mechanism to aid the budder from attack.


The Treasured Heartfish is a beautiful fish that lives in deeper waters and is required to bring life to the Treasure Golem! It is said that the heart of this magnificent creature's heart is so massive and immaculate, that it's the perfect substitute for the golem's life essence. The fish leaves behind a trail of bacteria that filters the water that it touches.


The Pinion is a fungus that dwells in the roofed dark forests, some are friendly and some are angry. There are three variations of the Pinion, the Yellow, the Black, and the Purple. The Yellow Pinion is a friendly creature that produces airborne spores, which have magical, regenerative capabilities. The Black Pinion is not so nice; they attack whomever may be carrying mushrooms in their inventory. They also inflict blindness upon their victims. The Purple Pinion is evil, it, soon, will have more abilities, but as of right now, all it does is attack you.
I will also be adding spore vials as well.



The Serken is a defensive little critter, who likes to fly around the warped forest and spit little fire balls. They have a tendency to hit you off ledges too, so be careful!

This arachnid is a fearful creature, which thrives in birch forests, which attacks only in self defense. They inflict poison from their stinger...

The Stockhorn is a large rhino-like gentle giant, which uses a unique form of movement... rolling. It rolls around the savannahs leaving behind large tracks in the ground. This makes it easy to track down. The beast drops a tough, yet flexible horn, which could be used to craft a stronger bow, recipe shown below:



The Kweller is a sandy serpent, which dwells preferably alone in the arid deserts, hunting for any prey it can find in the sparse region. However fear not, the Kweller only hunts prey it's own size or smaller like rabbits. Unlike other reptilians this peculiar snake hates sunlight, and hides underneath the shifting sands, leaving only it's tall sail exposed. Any vibrations from players that scare it, or unsuspecting bunnies that stray too close, will cause it to uncover and choose to fight or flee.
