Better End Portals is a 1.16 plus Datapack that adds a whole new challenge to defeating the ender dragon by adding 12 new custom ender eyes you need to find to open the portal. This feature forces the player to explore large parts of the world and upgrades the adventure aspect of the game.
Used together with a better world generation datapack you will explore the world of minecraft like never before. The pack is designed to make you first explore every major aspect of the game before you are getting your elytra and spend your remaining time with building or progressing only.

All the new Ender Eyes
The Blazing Eye: Can be found in one of the chests of the nether fortress.
The Buried Eye: This eye is buried in a treasure chest under the beach.
The Deserted Eye: The deserted eye is part of the Desert Pyramide loot.
The Frozen Eye: This snowball like orb is located in the basement of an igloo.
The Golem Eye: The Weaponsmith of every Village keeps on of that in its chests.
The Magical Eye: This eye is part of the collection of every modern evoker.
The Overgrown Eye: The true treasure of the Jungle Temple.
The Portal Eye: Can of course be found in a chest of a Ruined Portal.
The Prismarine Eye: Maybe the source of the Elder Gurdian's Laser Beam.
The Ruined Eye: Can be found in the Stronghold Library.
The Sunken Eye: Brought it's latest owner badluck and is now in a pineapple under the sea.
The Withered Eye: Another Reason to fight the Wither. Good Luck!
After you found them all just place them in the frames like you're used to and prepare for the last fight. You can take eyes out of the portal frame by rightclicking them again.
