THIS IS MY FIRST EVER MADE DATAPACK.
Please, do not hate me if you think it's terrible.
SO WHAT IS THIS ABOUT:
This is a datapack that makes a deadly lazer beam of potions (not gonna tell you what effects they give you) follow you all the time. It's basically impossible to stop, so you need to find covers, like village houses or caves.
If you have any suggestions for me to do, please comment down bellow.
Thank you for downloading my pack <3
(And yes, it is entirely possible to beat the game with this...)

If you got that working you can try reformatting the data pack to fit the currently running event. It involves a special data pack checker config file and a framework that calls your tick and load functions instead of #minecraft:tick. You can read all about it on the event page.
Of course each step is more difficult, but perhaps you'd like to give it a go =)
