The desert in Minecraft is too boring, but with this data pack it will sparkle with new colors. Incredible Desert adds 8 new structures, 4 mobs (with variations), a new boss and many blocks.
For a better understanding of the text below, take a look at the first couple of minutes of the video above. Although it is not in English, it will give you an idea of what it looks like!!!!
Features of life in the desert
Now it will become more dangerous to walk in the desert. Players will be able to receive sunstroke and damage. There are many ways to avoid this, but the easiest is to wear a leather helmet or mask during the day. At night or in buildings, nothing threatens you, but as soon as you are under the sun for a sufficient time, you will become ill. After a while, the vultures will come after you and kill you.
Mobs
Mummy
Mummies can meet you day and night. They can spawn both on the surface and in caves. They are of two types: with a saber and without. Mummies can drop pieces of fabric and with a medium chance a fabric mask that saves from heat and cannot break. From the fabric on the workbench, you can craft the same mask. If you find a mummy with a saber, then with a small chance you can knock out a broken saber. It can be repaired using iron and get something between a diamond and an iron sword.
Scarab
Small scarabs can be found in desert caves and on the surface at night. They come in 3 colors, and killing them will give you a scarab foot. You can eat it, but it does little to restore hunger.
Vultures
If you are not wearing a mask or leather helmet in the desert, the vultures will soon come after you. They are quite strong and can easily kill you at the beginning of survival. Killing them will give you some leather and feathers.
Boss Pharaoh
He has literally everything to kill you in the first few seconds. He spawns when opening his sarcophagus in a new pyramid. He has 3 types of attacks at once: melee, poisonous clouds, scarab spawn and fire staff. All of these attacks are quite strong and can make you die more than once. Before the battle, I advise you to prepare well, because after your death it disappears. It is best to go for it with diamond armor and golden apples. After killing him, you get a small bag, opening which you will receive several valuable items at once (for more details, see the Items section).
Structures
Sphinx
A small resemblance of a sphinx in the world of minecraft.
Oasis
A rather rare piece of an oasis in the middle of the desert.
Desert pillager outpost
Pillager outposts that fit better with the desert style.
Old house
Small houses of residents, completely covered with sand and a chest inside.
Temple
Small temples in the middle of the desert. There is a scroll inside them, breaking it will give you a random level 1 enchantment.
Tower
Fairly common sandstone towers. Inside them, you can find some gold ore.

Pharaoh pyramid
An improved version of an already existing pyramid. It is very rare and contains many treasures inside. The pyramid itself is one big labyrinth and has many rooms. In some of them you can find jugs, scrapping which you will receive one of the useful (but not directly valuable) items for survival in the desert. There are also papyri and the previously mentioned scrolls. Breaking the papyrus will give you one of the banner templates. In the main room in the pyramid you will find the pharaoh sarcophagus. If you try to open it, then the Pharaoh himself will come out of it.
Trinket seller
Trinket vendors can now be found in desert villages. You can buy several figurines from them to decorate your home. Also a fez as a headdress and 3 new books. In them you can learn more about all the intricacies of the datapack. All books are written from the perspective of a nameless traveler.
Items
Pharaoh Pouch
As mentioned earlier, a sack of loot drops from the pharaoh. This is done so that all items are not burned from the pharaoh attacks after he is killed. When you open it, you will receive a golden scarab, a pharaoh mask, some pieces of cloth, various valuable materials and a staff.
Pharaoh mask
It drops with a 100% chance and, like a leather helmet, saves from the heat.
Staff
A very dangerous weapon that drops with a rare chance. If you get it, you will be able to release a jet of fire every few seconds, just like the pharaoh did.
Golden scarab
It does not drop very often and can replace your regular totem. When using it, you fly up sharply, after which you slowly sink to the bottom. Thus, when you take too much damage, you take off and start regenerating hearts as you fly. It can also be activated from the same trinket seller. After that, you can right-click and get a new flying scarab pet. It gives the owner +4 hearts and immunity to heat. That is, with him you can use any helmet while in the desert.
Additional Information
The datapack is fully translated into 3 languages: English, Ukrainian and Russian. Designed to play on version 1.19.2 and higher (I cant vouch for version 1.20 and higher), and well optimized. I would be very grateful if you watch the video that is attached to the post. Have a nice game everyone!)
