This data pack makes it so you can craft a fish trap that will slowly catch fish for you over time when placed in at least a 3*3 of water. The fish trap will automatically obtain fishing loot over time at slightly slower rates than using a fishing rod.

You can tell that the fish trap is working if there is a small black dot on the top of the barrel.

Make sure to spawn the fish trap on a block (not floating in the water), other wise it might not spawn properly. Also, if you shift click a single item out of the crafting table, it might leave a ghost item(structure void) in you inventory, just place it on the ground and it should disappear.



To start the datapack you will need to type /reload.
