[v1.0.2] Reworked Blocks and Survival Banner slightly
- You used to get an abundance of spawn eggs in Survival Banner because of the Spawner drop in Blocks Banner. But now, the Survival Banner prioritizes usefulness and progression; so, you would be more likely to get Eyes of Ender.
- This rework applies to the Blocks Banner too, you are now more likely to get Obsidian and ore drops.

This data pack implements a new survival game mode/challenge into your world; it adds Gacha in Minecraft! Inspired by the Genshin Impact's Gacha System, this data pack will add a gacha system that makes Minecraft more grindy and luck-based. (If you know how gacha/loot box systems work, you know)
What is Gacha? Gacha is a game model that is compared to a slot machine or a loot box; you spend an in-game currency to 'pull' for an in-game item, feature, or character. The in-game items have specific rarities and some can be pulled for a limited-time only. (an example is on the right, from Genshin Impact's Gacha System) | |
 | Gacha in Minecraft Forget what you mostly know about Minecraft. In this game mode, you cannot immediately get the item you mined/acquired. EXPs and world items will be converted into 'Score', which when reached into a certain amount, you will get a Shrouded Fate. This is used to get the three different fates. |
How to get an Item? You can only get items by pulling for it through this data pack's gacha system. Once you get 100 Score, you will get a Shrouded Fate. Sneaking while holding a fate will cycle into the three fates. Dropping a fate will initiate a pull, which will give you a random item of that fate type. Items you get through this system is yours. You can use it, place it, eat it, etc. |
Daily Blessings! Getting dry on the Score front, and you don't have a tool to collect Score with? Everyone gets a random amount of Score each dawn! This daily blessing feature will make GachaCraft a feasible data pack to use in a Skyblock map! | |
Multiple Banners! This data pack has 3 banner types for each fate type! These banners contain various 5★ items! These banners change every 30 minutes. If you get a 5★ item from a banner type, you have 50% chance to get the featured item! If you fail to get it, you are guaranteed to get the featured item next time! |  |
 | Get Unique/Rare Items! The banners feature certain items that are not obtainable in a regular survival world! You can use these items to your heart's content. (the Spawner on the left can be achieved through the Blocks banner!) |

1-pull You can initiate a 1-pull by dropping a fate! This can be done by pressing your drop key while holding a fate. (default: Q) (Cooldown: 5 seconds) | |
8-pull You can initiate an 8-pull by dropping more than one fate! This can be done by pressing CTRL and your drop key at the same time. (default: CTRL + Q) (Cooldown: 20 seconds) |
Chances to get higher rarities
In this data pack, every pull gives you a chance to get a 3★ item, 4★ item or a 5★ item. The default item that you'll get every pull is a 3★ item; but it has a 5.50% chance to be a 4★ item, and a 0.50% chance to be a 5★ item.
Pity System
This data pack also has a pity system, just like in Genshin Impact. So, even if you are THAT unlucky, you are bound to get a 4★ item or even a 5★ item! Every 8 pulls from a banner type, you are guaranteed a 4★ item. And, every 64 pulls from a banner type, you are guaranteed a 5★ item!
Banner Guarantee and the 50/50 System
Once you get a 5★ item from a banner type, you have a 50% chance to get the featured item of that banner. If however you lose the 50/50, you get a standard item from that banner type; and, you are now guaranteed to get the featured item the next time you get a 5★ item from that banner type. This banner guaranteeing system can carry over banner phases.
Getting an Enchanting Catalyst Every one minute, an Enchanting Catalyst spawn within a 128-block radius of a random player. It will notify everyone through the boss bar above of its coordinates. The notification will be removed once the catalyst has been acquired by a player, or if the 1-minute time limit is up. | |
Enchanting an Item You can enchant an enchantable item by holding it onto your offhand slot and by dropping an amount of Enchanting Catalyst. The more of the catalyst you dropped, the better the enchantments. (the enchanted item will be considered as a treasure item, so it will have special enchantments such as Mending!) |
