Required Resource Pack
298
ONLY WORKS ON 1.20.2!
This datapack is a full recreation of Grian's Limited Life series.
- All players have a 24 hour clock, and once it runs out they are eliminated.
- Your name is green when you have >16 hours, yellow when >8 hours, and red when >0 hours
- Yellows can attack greens, reds can attack all
- Killing a player gives 30 minutes, dying loses 1 hour
- Every session a Boogeyman will be rolled, who must get a kill on anyone. The kill will give 1 hour while the victim of the Boogeyman will lose two hours. If the boogeyman fails, they will lose time until they are at the next color of life (e.g. failing at 21 hours immediately kicks you to under 16 hours)
For Server Owners:
ALL PLAYERS NEED THE RESOURCE PACK! The resource pack makes the clock in the bottom right render correctly.
Inform your player that [/trigger add_30_minutes] can be used to give 30 minutes for indirect kills, as those aren't tracked in game. If you find players misusing this, run the command [/scoreplayer players remove (username) limited_life_total_time 1800] to remove 30 minutes from their timer.
Run [/function limited_life:_event/begin_session] to begin a session. If this is the first session, the game will automagically begin the timer.
Run [/function limited_life:_event/pause_session] to pause a session. This will pause all timers.
Run [/function limited_life:_event/unpause_session] to unpause a session. This will, you guessed it, unpause all timers.
Run [/function limited_life:_event/end_session] to begin a session. This will pause all timers and cause the boogeyman to fail if they didn't made a kill.
