Mapcraft is a toolbox increases the possibilities of mapmakers without any complex installation
Mapcraft works as an intermediary between you and your world. Instead of manually modifying your datapack, adding music or building a house, Mapcraft will allow you to do it through a simple and convenient interface, while saving time by drastically optimizing your development time.
For example, if you want to create a complex cinematic with several points and various transitions, it will only take you a few minutes to create instead of more than an hour.
Mapcraft is still in active development and in alpha, bugs are possible
Features
- Selection: Select, fill, replace, draw shapes or copy / cut / paste in an intuitive way
- Drawing: Easily create a mountain or a lake, or why not a cave in a few minutes
- Trigger: Create zones to detect passing players accurately and efficiently
- Cutscene: Become a filmmaker by making your best short film, adding transitions or animating characters; the possibilities are huge
- Music: Import your music, sound effects or even dialogues as easily as possible
- Recipe: Create and modify custom recipe easily
- Advancement: Create and modify custom advancement
- Utility: A set of tools to facilitate your development (like a block, item and group search
- Library: A set of various functions that make your life drastically easier during your development cycle (go here for more information), functions are added frequently on demand
- Autoupdate : Updates are automatic on the software, but also the datapack and the resourcepack
- Multilanguage : Available in several languages (English & French

- Follow the installation instructions
- Launch mapcraft, choose the world you want to use
- In minecraft, launch your world, and select the resourcepack "mapcraft" and "Name of your world-Mapcraft-resource"
- Enjoy !

This new version brings a lot of new features, but one of them is particularly interesting, you now have the possibility to create your own plugins for Mapcraft, or to install others !

- Adding official support of user plugins
- Adding a CLI that greatly simplifies plugin creation
- The documentation site has been updated a lot, this one is much more furnished and will receive continuously new stuff. I want to thank my friend Öger for bringing me precious writing advices
Fixes:
- The images disappeared when minimizing the window under some versions of MacOS
- Under certain conditions, the cutscene plugin created invalid data on rotations
- The update system has a bug on the data pack
- Traduction error (again)

The structure creation plugin is in the list for a medium term development (~6 months). I am alone on this project with sometimes the help of a friend, so I have to do in order of priority
Mapcraft will probably work on a locally installed server by giving it access to the folders, but only for the one who hosts so it would be a shame ^^
