Hi everyone. For this datapack, I made it so that you can't die
There are multiple forms of damage in minecraft, including lava, drowning, void damage, cacti, powdered snow, etc.
What this datapack does is that it gives you fire resistance, resistance, regeneration and water breathing every tick (1/20 of a second), meaning that you can't use a milk bucket to make the effects go away. The effects themselves make it so that you can't die to fire damage, drowning, mobs or fall damage.
However, when making this datapack, I came to realise smth: you can fall into the void infinitely, meaning you can't beat the game if you fall into the void and don't have an enderpearl. To counter this, I implemented a command that checks if the block 30 blocks below you is air, and places a diamond block under your feet if it is air, meaning that you can't fall into the void. This was a solution, but it's not a perfect solution, as a diamond block will come up in the overworld as well if there is a cave 30 blocks below you, for example.
This is my first datapack, so please make sure to like and subscribe, as that would help me out a lot
Also, make sure to check out my youtube channel, as it is a new channel and I would appreciate it a lot if you subscribed to my channel and took a look at my yt vids
