A really simple datapack, that was inspired by bungeecord plugin Automatic Reconnect by Tau.
While reloading, tells players that a reload is happening, and also tells them when finished.
✔ This datapack is fully multiplayer compatible (as it has to be).
It is safe to use on servers with any software.
Usage:
Run /function reload:reload instead of /reload or /minecraft:reload.
If you want to reload silently, then just use vanilla /reload or /minecraft:reload. It will not display any text at all this way.
Copytight:
You are allowed to do anything. Crediting me is fully optional.
Uninstalling: just remove the datapack from datapacks folder. No furher actions needed

- "It is safe for servers with plugins, as it runs /execute run reload instead of raw /reload, so it always runs minecraft's reload and not spigot's or whatever software you use. Basically replaces /minecraft:reload but works in vanilla too."
Did you test that? Afaik thats useless, even on bukkit/spigot/paper/etc servers functions use the vanilla command variant, so only data packs get reloaded, plugins dont.If you did test that, nvm, then I learned something new...
i mean even if it doesn't change anything, this is still a little security measure
but on paper i think this is useless idk just didn't even bother risking
i am not home now but when i am back ill test, this comment made me curious
edit: i edited description so it just says that it is safe for servers
