Ever wanted more allays or maybe allays with different abilities? If so then you came to the right place! This datapack will add to your game a lot of new features and ways to interact with the cutest mob in minecraft - the allay! With the most recent addition - creating SuperAllays! which acquires a random class and ability in every summon!
Things the data pack adds:
Book.. well its not just any book its a special book that allows you to manage allays in your world!
SuperAllays - allays with abilities!
Things the book can do?
Show targeted - Makes the allay you will modify when clicking one of the other buttons (the one that is closest to you) glow.
Tame - Making an allay near you(up to 4 blocks away) yours without you having to give it something and seeing it flying around to take grab it when all you want is just a.. friend.
Heal - Oh no! your buddy took some damage? don't worry I got you. You can now heal your little friend as easy as clicking the button that says [Heal], be wary though as you can only do it every 5 minutes(a 5 minute cooldown between uses).
Freeze - I need some space ok?! Need your body to take a sit but afraid it will get hurt, well fear no more as clicking this button will make your buddy stay where he is until you unfreeze him again, without being able to receive ANY damage!
Unfreeze - I missed you my little buddy! Although I assume its pretty self explanatory, clicking this button will stop your little buddy from staying where he is(in his frozen state) and before you ask - No he doesn't get to keep the invulnerability he had in that state.. sorry.
Give Totem(0.8 update) - Allows you to give the allay a totem that he will hold in his offhand that will help him survive dangers while also being able to do his regular job(Recommended - use Reni's Hidden Totem (Not mine) for the best experience). Using an
Colorful Names(0.85 update) - You can now change the color of your allay's name using the book by pressing the name of the color inside of it!
Transform/Summon(0.9 update) - Using an enchanted golden apple you can summon a random SuperAllay into your world, each of the 10 different SuperAllays has a cool and unique ability that will help you throughout your adventures!
Normalize(0.9 update) - Want to reroll your superallay's class/ability? or maybe you are just tired of it? If so, then this feature will help you returning your superallay back into a normal allay! - be careful though as this action cannot be undone.
The SuperAllays:
Typical:
- Swifty - gives speed 1 to a nearby player
- Springy - gives jumpboost to a nearby player
- Guardy - gives resistance to a nearby player
Rare:
- Flamey - gives fire resistance to a nearby player, to itself
- Hasty - gives haste 1 to a nearby player
- Mighty - gives strength 1 to a nearby player
Epic:
- Lux - gives NightVision to a nearby player
- SuperHasty - gives haste 2 to a nearby player
Special:
- Immunity - makes the closest player immune to effects created by mini bosses(withering, mining fatigue and darkness)
- Piper - when near a warden it will force it to stay calm no matter what(can only target one warden at a time)
Setup:
After adding the data pack to your world, type the command /trigger supal_Give to receive the book. Don't worry about other trigger commands with that prefix as they can all be used through the book itself. You can always get another book and it will do the exact same thing every time so don't worry about losing it accidently(or intentionally).
Read before adding the data pack to your world:
- Only add the data pack to your multiplayer server if you are sure that no one in it will exploit the features of it.
- If your multiplayer server has a low ram plan I recommend to stop using it if things start getting laggy.
- I strongly recommend creating a backup of your world before adding the data pack to it(just in case).
