Description
This datapack will make wandering trades announce their presence once to nearby players in the chat after they spawned. They shoot out a few fireworks above them and glow for 10 seconds after spawning. There is a total of 10 different messages they can say. The trades are not altered. The current version is v4 for Minecraft 1.20.4 all the way down to 1.17.
Installation
Drop the .zip file into the datapacks folder inside your world save file. If the world is already running, enter /reload into the chat. That's it!
Compatibility
This datapack should be compatible with other wandering trader modifying datapacks.
Does it work on a multiplayer server?
Yes, it does. Announcements will be made to all players within a radius of 256 blocks.

While this might seem a bit low, its quite common given the smaller user base for datapacks compared to resourcepacks and mods
This is especially true in our Minecraft community in China, where the usage of wandering traders isnt very high
I anticipate your datapack will primarily attract players of skyblock without water or lava (like myself), as well as those with specific needs, such as players using modpacks that alter wandering trader trades
