Dear minecrafters,
For a minigame with command blocks am I trying to kill a zombie with a command block. I've tried already the /kill @e[type=zombie,r=50] command but the output was "error: Player not found". Please can someone help me ?

A plugin is overriding minecraft vanilla command on your server.

Use the command /minecraft:kill @e[type=Zombie,r=50]

For a more permanent solution it depends from the server you're using.
For spigot you have in spigot.yml a way to make command blocks using vanilla commands instead of plugins commands.

Did you type it with another language on your keyboard, or something? Or just type it wrong?

The type of the zombie must be with capital letter, also it's like that with the other types mobs, if you want to kill them.

It must be like this:
/kill @e[type=Zombie,r=50]

or for example other mob:
/kill @e[type=Pig,r=50]

That's it.. Just a little character mistake
