Creating a OS [NEED HELP] [18+]
Greetings, I've finally decided to build and create an OS called CenterBa, the website will be Centerba.com, I do not need help with the website, though I do with the OS as its a big job, the team size will be around ten people and every team member must be advanced in many types of OS codes, all of us will be supported of donations, if you get accepted into the team you will get a fair share of the donations, all team members must be 18 years or older, If you are interested please add me on Skype: benyboy3000
Cheers,
Ben

Java cannot be used to write a kernel and therefor an Operating System.
As someone whos written kernels, drivers, shells and everything between; i suggest you guys do more research...
For one; you almost certainly do-not actually want to make an OS; which involves writting executable procotols, memory hierachies and hard ware interfaces.
What you really want to make is called the shell and includes everything the end user sees... Shells are vastly easier to write and could easyly be done by an individual programmer.
Good luck guys

As said above. C is used for the linux kernel, but you can just do what all Linux OS's do: take the kernel, and then add a gui etc
