Gaming PC build, help please?
Hi, I've asked for advice a couple of times on here on what I should put into my PC, however each time I decided on the parts, I'd not end up saving for it. Now I have a stable job and am going to build one, however I'm not too sure what to put in it.
Budget:
$3,000 (AUD) for everything including Monitor and Win 8
Already have:
Case (Large Case, Cooler Master Storm Trooper)
Keyboard
Mouse
Notes:
I do not like AMD, no matter how good it is to you, I wouldn't find myself using any AMD parts in my PC, so please steer away from AMD.
Also, PC will be used for Gaming, recording, video editing, photo editing, and modeling, so please try make it all round decent.

It's been this way since a whole lot longer before you joined 12 days ago. It is in the "Gaming and Technology" section for a reason.
Change the motherboard to this. It has pretty much the same performance/features as the Gaming 7 for less.

Change PSU to this. Much better than that Silverstone PSU for only a little bit more.

Yes change it to this, will save a bit of money.
Lol, it really has. I've been doing this since I joined, random started before me, and I think shad even did some before us.

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the awesome build killer, my reason for not wanting AMD is really just due to personal choice, I've always taken the Intel and AMD route so its what I'm used to, on top of that almost everyone I know who has AMD parts has had horrible issues, I'm not saying AMD itself is bad, I'm just happy with Intel and Nvidia so I'd prefer to keep going down that route instead of taking a chance with AMD.

Okay, well what's your reasoning to not wanting AMD? It's not like a cancer or a low end part, it's literally a counter to nVidia. They run about the same, have the same drivers (now) and with aftermarket coolers, run about the same temps. I just don't want you to be a fanboy for blind reasons.
Anyways here is a build

I am by no means qualified to do this.
Graphics card: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Grap ... gtx+980+ti
Processor: http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-5960X-Ha ... s=i7+5960k
Ram: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-HyperX-F ... s=16gb+ram
Hard drive: http://www.amazon.com/Green-2TB-Desktop ... hard+drive
Ssd: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Digital- ... =128gb+ssd
Power supply: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Modular-B ... wer+supply
Get whatever motherboard that supports all that and all of the fans. Then hope to god it is in your price range.
Again get advice from someone else, I am not as qualified as someone from the Computer Group.
I hope this is at least somewhat helpful :3
