If that happens to you, you shouldn't be playing video games. You obviously aren't entirely sure what the Oculous Rift is.

It isn't a mind control device, it's a TV screen you wear on your face. Do you forget you're sitting on your couch and think you're going to get stabbed and have a panic attack on the floor when someone in a horror movie sees the monster? No.

Jumpscare, yes. Actual fear of being stabbed because you have no concept of reality, no.

think about how technology has evolved over the years, especially the past 100 years or so.

this is a simple little gaming headset that can trick you into believing something that isnt really happening is, and vice versa. what other bizarre things could be done with this technology? remotely messing with someone's grasp on reality? i know you guys may disagree, but i hope this thing never happens.

PewDiePie played Slender - The Arrival with Oculus Rift but I didn't know the game doesn't support Oculus Rift lol. But it would be great if the planning of Minecraft to support it got confirmed

All the Oculus Rift is goggles that make it seem like you're actually in the game you're playing. So the "everyone's plugged into a computer" thing is never going to happen.
