Although I should agree with you I think they are doing some very heavy changes to the game. They've updated the graphics which it desperately needed and there are rumours that they've change the way the game plays out. I hope it is improved I loved Call of Duty 2 and 3.

agreed COD games have never been good. and its really annoying how COD players compare every other game to it

Cod 4 was amazing in every way imaginable, Waw had the brilliant zombies, and mw2 was where me and my friends used to play together.
All the newer games are terrible so far, black ops had no sniping, slow matches and was to nooby for my liking, plus the ps3 version was literally the buggiest thing I have ever played. the only positive was zombies and 1 in the chamber.
MW3 is a clone of mw2. There is no originality in mw3, and this game even stopped even the most hardcore CoD fanboys I know from playing it. And these people have about 80 days playing time on mw2. Only people that havn't played a CoD before could truly like it.
I'm hoping Black ops 2 will recover the series to it's former amazingness, but deep down, i kind of know it wont, so im sticking with BF3. I <3 the jets!

Asylum. The problem people have with cod is that theres not enough changes and when they do change stuff they do it badly. Primarily I dont think players want a game set in the future although I know a few did but what most people want is a new game engine. It's getting ridiculous now.

Nah, I don't really like it, I will still contiue playing my Battlefield (Played battlefield since Battlefield 1942 (First game) ). I have bought like COD:4, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 2 and 3 and now.. this just looks shit, but let's see. I may buy it. BATTLEFIELD COMMUNITY FTW! (By the way, Dice are working on a Close Quarter DLC and 2 other DLCs to make the game suit for any kind of FPS player.

I dislike the idea myself. The call of duty franchise has been dying the past few games, people are really sick of basically the same thing with a different story and killstreaks now. The only bit I enjoy in any of the games is the story now which is unfortunate. I think Treyarch in one last desperate attempt to listen to fans have made a future game which looks like some poorly put together mix of Halo, Cyrisis, Battlefield, Call of Duty and Red Dead Redemption. I liked the idea of Black Ops, there aren't many games set in that era and they did it very well with the whole idea of the secret war. There was a lot of potential there. Now they have ruined it and took a MW approach (from what I can see Los Angeles gets invaded). Then again it is a new idea and I will have to see more trailers, reivews etc before I can properly judge it.
