Hello, I just recently purchased a Toshiba laptop. It is a customized laptop and was wondering if it can run Minecraft with No Lag with the best settings. Here are the specs.
- Satellite L850/S850 customized
- Intel Core i5-3230M dual core processor
- AMD Radeon HD 7670M dedicated graphics (2GB)
- 640GB 5400RPM SATA hard drive
- 8GB (4GBx2) 1600MHz DDR3 memory
Is this laptop good for Minecraft?

is it meant for gaming
sounds like it could easily get over 100 fps
The average monitor can't even process more than 75 frames.
And the human eye can only process 60. Even if you had 200 frames, you couldn't see it and your monitor can't display it.
Edit: Saw someone already linked to soup's blog. Derp.

lol so if you have over 100fps it wont be better than 75fps
Dual is 2, quad is 4. 4 cores split the process more. So it'll have less of a load.
Well, few games will actually utilize those extra cores.. (Minecraft included, if you don't use Optifine.)
Is a Dual Core processor faster than the quad core?
I think it should run with no lagg
Btw cool laptop
Btw cool laptop
Thank you
Hopefully it doesn't lag.
Hopefully it doesn't lag.
I like laptops better because of the mobility, but do you think it can run without lag?
Good enough. Desktops are better though, and cost similar to what a laptop costs.
