What Tempted You To Stay on PMC?

So people ask, 'How did you discover PMC?', 'What have your experiences been here?', 'What is your favourite part of PMC?' and others. What I really want to know though is what tempted you to stay on PMC rather than leaving like many other sites you probably visit.
I started on minecraft forums for example but soon got bored. True the range on that website is not as broad but it just didn't do it for me. I am not at all against it, in fact it is really great, it just isn't an everyday thing for me.
So why did you stop and investigate further rather than just moving on?

My History:
I came onto PMC about 2 years ago, when I got MC.
I made a profile then.
I was making skins but they didn't get me nowhere.
Then I msged Paril and asked to change my nick to iDarwin.
After the pasword reset, I couldn't reset it, so I made another account.
I started making TP's, and it turned out like an XP-Gold mine.
And here I am now, level 25 and all happy

Let's see, I've been here since PMC was pretty small. I stay because they WON'T LET ME LEAVE.
I'm not kidding, every time I say "hey, I need a break, I'm going to be gone for a while" they drag me back, kicking and screaming and chain me to my computer.

^ Good! I often find that unless it is completely unacceptable, it generally is untrue or is based on nothing, leaving it as just useless or alternatively laughable.

Oh of course Out of curiosity, is the hate mail entertaining, annoying, genuinely hurtful or neither here nor there for you? Some people actually laugh at the hate mail while others find it extremely offensive, so to be honest, I'm interested.
