For those who don't know, Anonymous, as quoted from Anonanalytics, "... is a decentralized network of individuals focused on promoting access to information, free speech, and transparency." They target a number of groups and companies primarily to expose corruption.
For those who are intrigued ever further, here are some videos.

Do you personally believe in what they do? I think that some of the attacks are just. For example, when they took down the Westboro Church not only because they are cruel to the majority of humanity, but also because a spokesperson said they're website was protected by God.

Your reasons are contradictory. You claim they stand for "promoting access to information, free speech, and transparency," but then compliment them for hacking the Westboro Baptist Church's site. I was under the impression that even the WBC has the right to free speech.
Anonymous and other "hacktivists" are all the same, the love to claim that they're doing something morally and ideologically sound, then turn around and give out a thousand Credit Card numbers or Facebook passwords.

There is the political Anon that fights for the values they believe in. I like them more than the people that call themselves Anonymous and go out and attack random sights.

i think that they are in the right directions, but as other said, they have hurt innocents as well as bad guys. this is because anon has no discipline (it really can't in its current form). im not dissing individual members, guise, im saying that they are being ineffective at actually coordinating their cells, coordinating their target, and more. for god sakes they haven't even decided upon a agreed ideological stance.

Anyone that hacks I dislike. If they hack that means they go out of their way just to start a war on if its good or bad.

I agree with jchint., They go out of their way to hurt people. Sometimes because they feel like it. Not justice...
