A bit of lag

Apparently whenever I join a server, my client lags. As I type I can not see what I type until a few minutes after, but my friend can see them as soon as I type them. This problem has been bugging me on the Feed The beast Ultimate Pack. It'd be much obliged for someone to help me with this inconvenience.

It's your own computer problem. Your processing system is too slow. The Feed The Beast Ultimate Pack is very laggy in the first place for most users, escpecially for multiplayer. Go to the FTB login area, go to options and add more RAM
