How to add new armor set to the game?
How can i add new armor set to the game? Mods? Or is it possible to give custom texture to an armor set without losing the original one? For example, giving another appearence to leather set changed a little bit with attribute modifiers but with the original leather set still remaining?

With mods is easier, but if you want with datapacks, you'll need optifine (unless if you don't mind two+ sets having the same texture).
- You can change the armor attributes and tags using commands/datapacks.
- In a resource pack you can change the armor item models.
- In optifine you'll change the armor texture based on it's NBT data.
