I need some help, advice, or good suggestions.

So Im pretty much a newb to this whole online server thing. But first let me tell you how I want to go about this. I made a pretty sweet offline map. And I honestly just want to make it online so I can play with one of my buddies. Now Im running on a 6 year old laptop with a wireless adapter. Can anyone suggest a good, solid website to host a server? And can anyone also tell me how to make my map online?
You know as sweet as playing Minecraft on PC is. To be able to play online makes my head hurt. Its so complicated. Minecraft on Xbox was soo much simpler and easy.I honestly think this should be a future update fix. Sorry for the rant. :/

We'll.. Depending on your computer you should not host if yourself.
You can host yourself if you like to.. Just let me know if you want to.
If you want to someone to host if for you.. You can use http://witherhost.net/ and choose 1GB ram or 2GB ram.. If you now are using plugins. Depends how many you need some more Ram
