Hey guys!
I've created a map in worldmachine and want to import the whole map (height+Bitmap) into Worldpainter.
I dont have probs with the height map, but the bitmap for the colouring wont work in worldpainter.. the program shows the colored terrain but ingame there is the original Worldmachine terrain visible...
hope, that anyone can help me.

thanks Ivain, I'll test it right away! :)
Worldpainter itself can only import bitmaps as annotations. Since there's only 15 annotation colors, thats very limited.
What I recommend instead is to use this script: https://github.com/creativitRy/ColorToTerrain
It matches up the colors with actual materials. However, the default is not ideal for most terrain so you'll have to do some replacing or customizing.

Hey Ivain, do you know how to scale the map? I had to scale up the heightmap so it will fit properly, can i scale up the colourmap aswell?
yes, but not in worldpainter. I would suggest placing both the heightmap and colormap in the same photoshop or gimp file on separate layers, and then scaling them identically and save them separately.
I tried it 3 times, everytime i restartet WP and rendered the whole map new... not funny with 70.000.000 Blocks.. srslym dont know where my fault is..
I don't have experience with using a bitmap but when sometimes worldpainter causes problems they are solved when I restart the program, it might also work here.
