Honestly, that's an awful laptop. I would be surprised if it could maintain a stable frame rate above 10.

Also, why would you want a laptop? I know they're portable, and they have a battery. But you don't need portability when the battery dies out because of overloading the computer.

I would recommend getting a desktop. They're much better, and usually cheaper.
I'm not saying get an alienware, but look at them. The laptops aren't as good as the x51, and they're nearly double the price.

Also. I think this'll get you max, 10-15 fps. Upgrade ram. Turbo boost the CPU. And you'll see a bit of change. Graphics card seems better than my 4000 series getting me somewhere from 30-120 fps.

I'd say skip that laptop and get one with an A series APU, Unfortunately I can't find a laptop similar to that price but the current laptop won't run it too well. 4GB is also fine if you only plan on running minecraft a the only laptop
*edit* The last sentence made no sense, what I meant to say was "4GB should be fine if minecraft is the only app running on the laptop at that time, no skype, youtube, etc. Only minecraft

AHAHAHA, Man, that's really funny. A crappy laptop from Wal-Mart, as well as 4 Gigs of RAM, 320 GB of HDD, that's what my family's PC was from in 2009. Oh.... If you're going to get a computer, invest in at least $500+ or just build your own...

Also, don't worry about the RAM, that is the least important part of a computer if you are buying one. Also, you are going to get about 10 fps on far, and 50 fps on tiny.

4gb isn't really low..?

Alot of games like Black Ops 2 and BF3 only require 2gb... 4gb is definitely okay for Minecraft.. -_-

You're kidding... Those Games need more Ram than 2 GB, also, you don't ponder around of the most amount of RAM for gameplay. It's more about the graphics card and CPU. RAM is just the least important component in a PC build.

Sure, just send me pics of your machine running GeekBench so that it tells your overall performance.
