Best plugin for Ranks and best plugin for Leaderboard

I am seeking the best plugin for Ranks on our Spigot/Paper Server running MC 1.12.2
I would like one that allows for easy config changes, donor ranks and player ranks.
Also seeking a Plugin to handle Leaderboard.
And if either includes other features that would be a bonus.
Plugins can be free or paid as I don't mind investing in my server.

Back in the day when I owned a server for a long time I used Group Manager made by the developers of Essentials. Works perfectly with every plugin. I don't know if its easier than PermissionsEx but definitely worth looking into imo

I guess you can use PermissionsEx to manage your ranks.You can manage using the config or/and ingame commands. Also, if you set it up correctly, you can have both donor and player ranks work properly for one player.
For the leaderboard you can use https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/leaderheads.2079/, it's premium but worth every cent.
