Hello everyone,

To anyone who may be curious, I along with a group of experienced staff members have taken interest in the timeline of the Mid-Nineteenth Century. With this we have created a Historical Civilizations server resembling that of the timeframe that is intended. The server features a Minecraft map by Letslente (http://letslente.weebly.com/the-earth-20.html#/) of a scaled version of the Earth. With the Earth map and factions representing historical corresponding nations to the timeframe, this allows for a unique server with the 1850's time period.


Now, you may be asking, what is the fun in a server such as this? To put it simply, you may become the leader of a nation that existed during the 1850s, grow and expand your nation into an empire, and acquire all of what our blocky Earth map has to offer. Note, this isn't just factions with a twist, it's much more. Instead of your typical raid on a factions server that you may be accustomed to, in our server, conquest is done systematically through wars declared upon enemy nations. Meaning, yes, actual battles for you homeland, and to expand your empire. So, if empire building, musket battles in Minecraft, colonial domination, mass politics, industrialization, alliances, enemies, all in a historical setting sound like your cup of tea, then I think you may find interest in our server, and I strongly recommend you check it out.

The server is still a work in progres, however, you may keep up to date with the server, and get a head start by claiming a nation for yourself that hasn't been taken yet in you join our website at (http://rising-nations.enjin.com/home).

Do also note that once the server is up that we will be making an official server advertisement. this forum post is to bring players in early to allow for more nations to be created before the server has started.
