Server info:

What we are:
We are a community of people focused mostly on Minecraft
that also enjoy xbox and other PC games. The server is oriented
towards questing and adventuring with your friends rather then solely
being focused on building(This doesn't mean we discourage building!)
The server was founded at the beginning of 2012 and has grown to a
small close knitted community that wishes to expand.


The Staff:
The server has very friendly staff that is willing to help you with whatever you need
whether it's help with a quest, dealing with a troublesome person, help explaining a plugin
or feature of the server or when you just need someone to talk to. Our staff members are
CAREFULLY chosen by the Head Admins. We ask that you do not ask to become
a moderator or admin, if we think you are deserving of the position and can
do the name good we will ask you to become one, begging will get you nowhere
but thrown in jail.




Ranks:
Ranks and towns are somewhat unique on Larkspur, at least to me they are.
There are three different classes you may choose from in the main world, each
class has 4 different ranks to progress through. Ranks are bought with in-game
money from npc's located near the spawn-point. Each class and it's respective
ranks gain many perks depending on what they choose.


Towns:
Towns are handled in a
strange yet unique way on Larkspur as well, we don't use Towny or Factions
or any of the other town plugins, In order to create a Town you must first join the
diplomacy class and gain the rank of Councellor. After doing so you must get 5 people to join
your town before it can become official and gain protection. Towns have 4 tiers
starting at Settlement and ending with a Kingdom. You must meet certain requirements
before your town can reach the next tier(EX: you must have 10 people in your town and
build a blacksmith shop and have 25k in-game currency). Each tier will gain a bigger town radius
that is protected as well as gaining a new perk(such as a town bank and a train station for easy traveling)


Quests:
What kind of server would be complete without quests?! Larkspur has
many quests with more being added every week! Quests are hand-written by one of the
Head Admins(screw taking the easy way out with questwriter ) Quests are handled
by the Citizens plugin. We are always looking for idea's for new quests too, so if you
have one by all means share it on our forums! We have many stand-alone quests and
a few ongoing quest lines that reward you with everything from money and experience
to enchanted weapons and spells!




Spells:
Along with our quests comes our spells, done through the use of the Magic Spells plugin
[/b]we now have over 100 spells, none of which are the default/vanilla spells! Again like with
quests if you have an interesting spell idea SHARE IT, nothing is too weird. Hell, we have a spell
that drops a truck in front of you and even one that drowns people inside a glass bubble! So believe
me don't think something is un-doable or too weird! As a general rule spells are only given out as quest rewards
but on occasion may be given out as a prize for a contest or competition of some sort. Do not ask
to be given a spell for no reason that answer will ALWAYS be no.
