1.11 Vanilla Experience [ Whitelisted ] [ Fresh Start ]

We a are a bunch of guys that love Minecraft and want to share our experience with everybody else, we want to make friends and you know, play the hell out of the game. We started MinePortal about an year ago with the Citadels RPG server which is , by the way, still in development and along the way we tought we should open up more types of servers, for everybody to enjoy.
Now is the time, to open our gates to all the Vanilla Survival lovers out there.
We surely love Vanilla gameplay and experience. For most of us, its the first interaction with the game and we want to keep it that way. Ofcourse, if we would want to play 100% Minecraft Survival, we would in Singleplayer, so we added a little twist, probably most common around all servers. On Mineportal, you will enjoy a friendly, stable and protected environment. We have only a handfull of plugins, solely to ensure a wonderfull experience.
Among those plugins, you will notice: AuctionHouse, GriefPrevention, WorldGuard, ClearLagg and our custom AntiCheat.
Now, you might wonder how will you get money ( In this case Emeralds Σ ) ? Besides classic mining, some monsters will have the chance to drop random Emeralds. Thats about the all modifications we've added to the mob system. Of course, we like to bring you challenges, so we might pop some cool monsters from time to time. With the Σ (Emeralds) you will be able to trade items in the Auction house with other players.
No custom shops or anything that can be abused. The entire game will have a Player-Driven Economy.

What made you apply: I never get tired of vanilla servers. The communities keep it interesting, and I like how everyone can interact and get to know each other. I also prefer servers that don't have hundreds, or even thousands of players on. Things get too crazy and they just don't appeal to me.

I want to find a good vanilla server that has strict rules that must be followed and doesn't just let their players do whatever and make the server toxic and look bad. As well as that, I am looking for a vanilla server that can stay up and will stay up unless people want to change it from vanilla and change it to a normal server or a certain gamemode that everybody agrees upon. I am also looking for a vanilla server that has a fun and friendly community that is nice to everyone and doesn't constantly swear and be racist and toxic to the community.
