Find the picture you want, open it with paint or another picture edit program, and then resize it to 100x100 pixels. Save it, and then upload that picture to your avatar!

i have tried it but it says that the picture is too big or it needs this or needs that. i cant stand it please help.

Go to My account at the top of the page, then click "Change Avatar" on the left column. Upload picture, and there you go

Go to your account. Profile. Change avatar. Profit.
