Just some information: I have Windows 8 and Sony Vegas Pro 12.
Ok I have a problem with Sony Vegas, let's say I'm going to render a video... I hit ''render as'' then pick my settings e.g. HD 1020 x 720p.
Then the video renders as a mxf file, and I have no idea how to get that off... No matter what settings I change my video to it always stays as mxf..
Then it renders and I try to play it and it wont play because its an unknown file or whatever. The file ends like this randomtext.mfx.sfl
Does anyone know the problem? I really need to get rid of this, because this is my main editor for my videos.

As for other user: buy the program and it will fix things.

Hm, I don't have Vega 12, and it looks like your editing the MXF preset, so I'm not sure.
Also avi is a massive file type.

or just change the file name to [NAME].avi
Go onto "Customize template" and change the file type to wmv.
