Windows movie maker - not enough memory error
What to do about this? I searched internet a bit for this error and all I found was standard microsoft replies that really does not help as I tried them before and all are same.
I am using Win 10, I am using latest WLMM(whatever version it was), have 16gb of ram and 800gb free space so it is probably not my PC.
If there is no fix to this error what are "simple" yet effective movie makers that can replace the movie maker and are free?

If you go back to WMM, maybe try uninstalling it and reinstalling it.
I like HitFilm editor, thank you guys for all the suggestion but I did a bit of research on my own and went with HitFilm maker due they giving out original copies of their premium software to keep forever and well it looks nice.
Also changed my format recording from .AVI to .MP4 as looks like HitFilm accepts .MP4 files.

mp is most of the time the best choice as it is A LOT smaller than avi
I realized that after like 4 years of recording.
vegas is pretty good as i said before but the price......... let's just say a lot of people did not pay for it

I would recommend HitFilm, it's a pretty powerful piece of software. AVI files are uncompressed and take a crapload of storage per second compared to compressed formats, so I'm not sure why you need AVI output. But whatever works, man
most recording programs use AVI as a standard file output
Movie Maker is pretty bad. A while ago, I found an incredible video editing software, and the plus is, is that it's free!
It's called DaVinci Resolve. Here's a link to the website.

daVinchi resolve is fairly annoying, mainly because it doesn't support any of the common video file formats (mp4, AVI etc))
Will look into it, I installed HitFilm maker or something like that as they are giving out free copies so yeah but it does not support AVI format hope this one does thou.
