This is an official contest organized by the PMC skinning association

The contest
Hello PMCSA members and visitors! ;D
It's been a while since the last contest finished. We got some amazing entries in the color palette challenge but now it's time for a new contest!
The theme
The theme for this contest is 'toys from when you were little'.
I came up with this while I were making a skin inspired by some toy I bought for someones bday recently.
Everyone used to have a favorite toy. Maybe lego's, barbies or playmobil or w/e, or a favorite cuddly toy. ^^
So what you'll have to make for this contest is the favorite toy from your childhood.
Rules
- Submissions have to be made for this contest
- You have to make clear what toy your skin is based of
- One submission per person
- You must be a member in the PMCSA in order to enter this contest
- Send me a link to your entry through a PM, so not as a comment below!
And please put some effort in your skins!
I recommend MCskin3D as skinning-program to use.
And of course keep to the official PMC rules.
Prizes?
- You will have your link added to the members' list by joining in this contest.
- The maker of the best skin -excluding skins made by elite members- will be invited to become an elite member in the association.
- The top 3 most original will be mentioned at the end of the contest and that way get a quite some recognition out of this
- Pixel-art-trophies for the 'about me's' of the top 3
- People with outstanding skins entered in PMCSA events and contest will from now on get a '*' behind their name in the members' list.
Judging
The judging will be done by some experienced skinners, most likely elite members.
They'll pick their personal top 4 and based on that I will decide the final top 3.
We will judge on coloring and shading, concept isn't so important as you can't 'make up' what used to be your favorite toy.

Why would a contest start after the 5th of January 2013, if it were to finish before it began? I think we can safely conclude that the submitting entries phase of the contest does end on the 1st of May, not the 5th of January.

This brings back memories, when a cardboard box could be anything with use of my imagination. When I was five, I was an astronaut, a racing car driver and a school boy, my life was pretty hectic, but I managed to fit it all in.

However, I'd much rather make a skin (of a toy) that spelled out my infancy in a 64x32 image. Maybe something like buzz lightyear, I did & do like Toy Story.
