What is Cyperion and why should I join?

Cyperion is a large team of skinners that plan to reach different goals and basically have fun doing new things with skinning. To keep the fun going, we will host events such as challenges, friendly competitions, skinning livestreams and more. As a member of the team, you can participate in group projects and possible new things that some of our creative minds will think up. As a member however you have the ability to enter some events such as challenges and competitions. The more skinners we've got, the more possibilities there are to uncover.

How can I join?

Everyone on the site is classified as a rookie before joining. Rookies are NOT members of the team but have the ability to enter contests. To get involved, you must create a skin and post it on this thread. You and your skin must follow the SOR guidelines we like to use. The S stands for shading (no teen skins, please.) The O stands for originality (we won't accept someone who has a page full of teen skins.) The R stands for Rules (you must have not broken a forum or site rule in the past month.) If you get accepted, you would be PM'd by a staff member within a week. If you don't get the PM, then the skin hasn't been accepted. If you would like, you can ask why you didn't get accepted and if you really need some help you can ask for a mentor. Skinners and rookies can both be mentored, but skinners should be mentored by a Master Skinner, as it would be faster to improve. Here are the ranks that you can move up to from there:

Rookie
Skinner
Good Skinner
Great Skinner
Expert Skinner
Master Skinner

It is all based on opinion moving up from skinner. When you think you belong in a higher rank, create a skin and show us. We will PM you if we feel you should be moved up. Note that different ranks come with different perks.
