Honestly? it's hard to pick a side. (go to the end of the paragraph if it's too much reading) Minecraft was already doing ok on it's own before it was bought out by microsoft, but the changes that came around when microsoft bought mc were pretty good. Sure, some changes are atrocious to some people's eyes. For some reason, people can't see past how 1.15 brought more than just bees, or how 1.9 (comabt update) was actually decent and separated bedrock from java. We finally got a nether update, we got to swim properly, crawl in one block spaces, have axes do more damage than swords. I guess I don't have all the facts so I wouldn't know if Mojang's relationship with Microsoft is doing ok. But from what I see, I think staying with Microsoft is a good choice for Mojang. tl;dr, Microsoft and Mojang should stick together, I'll probably get bullied from redditors for having an opinion, and I kinda liked the combat update.
