    SA-2A is on full reconfig. I need to fix base model more before continue...
    The good things is simple, with minimal changes.... Do you like this new floor? Flat and simple, no more dumb slopes in various directions.

    trying to push SA trough this converter was a mistake.... It's too old, too inaccurate with parts edges. And mostly bad - too much work on just 2nd stage(converting), there is much more work in front. I need adding thickness, base coloring and fixing small details. Then next stage - internal correction, and one huge one - internal components.

    There is nearly 980k polys right now.
    Redish red because highlighted wireframe view, but look how detailed.

    Slighly wrong round surfaces at some spots, but easy to fix. Reminder for someone with same method: Always manually subdivide and move out (Normals+Individual -> G+Z). It will fit catmull-clark curved surface more tight and will be rounded enought due to better base angles from edges.

    I hate when converter goes his math very well and giving me sides of 1726 instead of 1727. And vertically too. It is cutted parts, at absolute horizontal level, where the height differences that gives me +-1 block of height? I've taken the whole mesh regen to simply cut anв import, and now I need to check relations on some parts and make corrections manually!

    Yeah, ~1mil tris total, all of this on screens is just 1st stage...

    And I'm happy now, just few crease=0.25 lines continuing frame (better at transition only slices at all length) and voila, no more huge resizing and subdivisions with pretty ugly shape.

    Few new parts of 'beast's belly' =) Some problems with transitions for missing here part, but no problem to fix. Other transitions are good.

    Better! Manually fixed it.

    At least no any corrections, but gonna split by smaller parts, converter will just drown in this poly count otherwise.

    At least perfect surface already is ready.

    Also don't worry, it's purely from dummy tris from straight part. Easily can be replaced with simple cilynder. And also there is better and optimal way to miltiply faces. Not too many like on last pic.

    I like Blender over Maya. Blender may be more difficult, but it is more user-friendly.


    Also Blender doesn’t crash like every five to ten minutes.

    Yes, but here is just one task: make more detalisation from base model. There is modifier for that.

    Bought model from Nemeth Designs, detached surface part to smooth more. Then it gonna go trough voxelisation stage.

    Sad news for airport. I need to drop RTM, it is incompatible with LT. Rails may be created from microbits of second one. Harder, but possible. Also slices to the rescue for more smoothness. But you will not see moving shuttle and trains. :(

    Just thinking about "whoa, how complicated is all of this"

    That's whole new hull (but base is used anyway for relayering), new interiors, but same cockpit devices with minimal tweaks, and full rework of engines + free turbines. Wish me luck...

    This one is more closer to Hunter-Gratzner (inspired by). Maybe I should make this thing (Or same class, but different model)?

    Gatwick project is online again, slowly going up it will probably lead SA-2. Heli will be finished first, and airport is really huge by MC standards and will take time, lots of time. Just take a look at current state of things...

    They reworked this area, i follow, like more space here.
