NukeDiamondAlso, one of the submissions that has someone's favourite font and all looks like a default background due to the shaded lines occurring through the background. (Emorak's)



That's called a texture, I found it on Google ages ago and decided to use it in this background. Also, those are interlacing lines, I've used that technique in a few of my stuff, they're easy to do if you understand Photoshop.

I'm not sure what you're using but 8 does have a Taskbar..



All that's different about it is they've got rid of he Start orb and replaced it by an off screen action that brings up the Start menu.

If the beta has support for games then the full release will have too, and I haven't found a single game that isn't supported yet.

Like I said previously, if you're not sure or don't want to lose money, dual-boot.

If it's a released update, update your Minecraft launcher then do the same as you would for any TP. This will give you the new textures etc that you can then update whilst keeping your old textures (copy & paste them over the top/import the new blocks into your old TP, your choice)

Having submissions removed/topics locked won't affect how people see you on the site or stop you from having stuff featured on the 'Popular Reel'. If it becomes a constant problem, then peoples views might change but you can still get featured on the reel.

Just make sure you are up to date with the rules of the site and your PMC experience will be plain sailing

Windows 8 is okay, I'm still using the beta (since February) but it was designed with Mobile and touch screened devices in mind.

Personally, I would choose 7 for the user-friendly accessibility and 8 for the looks (8 is JUST 7 with a make-over and a few complications along the way). At first 8 will look confusing and yes it takes some time to adjust to where everything is, but I have to say I do like the ability to have apps etc off screen rather than constantly clogging up the Taskbar.



If you want the best of both, dual boot 7 & 8. That way you can choose which one you want to keep

Up in the top right is "My Account" click that then click "Edit Profile", now you should see a little icon that looks like a pencil & paper, click that

None are free, you're looking to fork out quite a bit for them but they are well worth the price!

I used Cinema 4D or 3DS Max, just make sure alpha channel is on. Or for images I use Photoshop and the amazing Pen Tool

I'm fairly certain a religious meme would fit into ruling #3, either way anything aimed towards religion is not welcome here. Like I have stated beforehand, it will be flamed and seeing your attitude towards us (who are merely advising you) a flame will not go down with you, I can tell. .

Consider this friendly advice from an ex Mod before a Moderator locks this and then causes problems for yourself

If people start complaining about this topic, it will be no ones fault but your own. You can not bring up such a sensitive issue and expect everyone to be joyous about it.

The closest reference I can think of is;

It's like a family member dying, then someone making an inappropriate meme about it. That surely wouldn't sit right in your eyes and you would have something to say about it.

I'm not saying it's wrong to find the image itself funny, but you have to think of others.

You can't tell people to not take offense just because you found it humorous, religion is a way of life and people take it seriously.
