Please don't take the following as criticism or hating, because its not! It's simply the way people think. I have a few of your problems as a fellow youtuber
In addition to needing a new mic, people go on to watch a steady, youtuber, someone they can look up to, relate to, or feel like they're being brought up by watching it. The fact that you're so young puts people off! There's not many people that will look up to or relate to you because of your age, and i don't know much about your content, but your low quality microphone really annoys. But i see another problem here...
Your voice hasn't even cracked yet and you say this is set in stone what you're going to be? Bro, i'm sixteen and not 100% sure what i want to do with my life! You seem young enough that you DON'T HAVE TO WORRY! How long have you been making videos, six months? first, it took xxSlyFoxHoundxx (my fav YouTuber) a few years to get noticed! and he was never doing it for the subs. Don't expect video games to be a living, play it like a hobby and let the subs role in as they may. YOU HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD! stick with school and find your calling, life surprises everyone in the least expected ways.
Example: the fact that i would ever have a girlfriend that i love as much as i do came as a huge swipe over the head, but every day she inadvertently finds a way to make me feel amazing and find a new part of myself that i love almost as much as her.
main point, WAIT! you're young, so am i, so enjoy it while it lasts, School can provide the most fantastic opportunities in the world, so keep putting yourself out there, maybe take a break from youtube until your voice has matured a little, and most importantly DON'T LOOSE FAITH IN WHAT YOU DO!
