I remember a server that implemented a similar system (for regular players as well) and they lost over half their community along with a few staff members, all because they found it annoying.
I guess that is also a recommendation to get mature staff.

Obviously it's very unlikely, and in fact illegal, but I just felt like sharing. As long as craftbukkit doesn't have any future exploits you should be fine.
