Modification Xfood introduces a completely new kinds of food, which will help to diversify our game. No matter if you prefer to collect canned food to survive the zombie apocalypse, or if you prefer more fresh food like tomatoes that you grow by yourself - you will find something for yourself. You can always prepare something tasty for your dog or celebrate a special occasion with friends while eating a whole new cake.

This mod adds:
Full List

Salt
Tomato
Bean
Corn (impossible to get in this version except creative)
Peanuts
Humulus
Cakes (apple, carrot and chocolate)
Half of cake (original minecraft cake and those created by me)
Salted mushroom stew
New soups (apple, tomato, melon and pumpkin)
Knife (used for cutting)
Slice of bread
Toast
Fried egg
Sanwiches (with meat, with tomato, with meat and tomato, with fried egg, with fish and with chocolate)
French fries
Fish and chips
Canned food (apple, bean, fish, corn and peanuts)
Empty can
Can opener
Dog food
Chips
Soda can's
Caramel
Apple in caramel
Beer
Peppermints (impossible to get in this version except creative)


If you have any ideas on what I could add to this modification - share it. I do not promise that i will add you idea, but if the ideas are not stupid - such as dirt soup - it can be expected that i will use the idea.

All crafting recipes will be included in next version. For now you need to use NEI or other mod so you will be able to see all recipes. Or, you could try it by yourself.

Installation:

1. Delete "META-INF" in "minecraft.jar".
2. Download and install Minecraft Forge
3. Download this (Xfood) mod.
4. Unzip the file.
4. Copy this mod (file "Xfood[0.4.2][1.5.2].jar") into folder ".minecraft/mods".
5. Play!

All textures created by MDP for this mod.
See also his project - my mod will be used in it.

I will update mod to 1.6 soon.
If you want to translate modifications to your language, please send message to me so i will add necessary things in mod file so it will be able to use that language.
Currently supported are English and Polish.
The next update will add distinction between British and American English. At the moment, it's a combination of both.

To all who still come here - the update is almost ready. Left me to add a few textures, then do some tests.

Texture will change. It was made only for testing.
At the moment it is only decorative block, but in one of the future updates will add functionality.

If you mean add them as another mod into modpack, so yes, it is possible. But possibly you need to change block and item ID in mod config (or use ID Resolver).
If you mean add them to modpack you (or someone else) is creating (or created), then you can't (unless you get my permission).

Maybe lettuce and other leafy greens to make salads (diff kinds of salads) Maybe salad dressings (Italian, Ranch, Buffalo, etc...) How about more specific sodas and thirst quenchers? Like *Mountain Dew, *Dr. Pepper, *Sprite, etc... (*Subject may be due to copyright infringement)... Maybe TACOS! EVERYONE LOVES A DELICIOUS TACO :D and quesadillas ;).... Wait... I have an AMAZING EPIC IDEA... Make random structures generate throughout the world (like NPC villages) but make new types like; *McDonald's, *Wendy's, etc... And have it to where new NPC's work there and require payment of emeralds to buy the item. Make the items (like certain burgers and special menu items) NON-craftable Until you reach some achievement that will allow you to start your own chain and then the recipes unlock. Make that apply to each different "business" you make. Oh, I know! Maybe you can make new vines (the kinds hanging from tree's) BUT add vine foods on them... Or raspberries: it can be a thorn bush (like the cactus) but with harvestable berries; and growable :D Hmmm... I may think of more in a bit... SMOOTHIES!!! Harvest ice with a hammer or hoe and get ICE CUBES :D lol... Sorry about this post... ~reads over what has happened~ <.< >.> <.< Shiny red ball moment I suppose... What do ya think? Stupid or...?

Underground hotdog stands or harvestable food sources so that the player doesn't always have to leave for health in depserate times. It'll give them a better chance at getting to their home and resupply and heal later. maybe even add bat guano to make special recipes that have like night vision effect for some time or something. Sorry to add more, just came to me and wanted to put it down just in case. Oh and you're welcome to potentially spawning a whole new idea for creating an EPIC mod with this all in it lmao. I don't know how to make them and it takes a while to learn, so here it is... When I finally learn what I need, I 'll figure out other epic stuff... Lol ~~ Anyways.. How about ham and pork (50/50 chance at either to drop) And a food processor to process meats into like Bologna (Balone/y), Hot Dogs, maybe bacon... Maybe you can add maple trees to make syrup for pancakes you can newly craft :D BUTTER!!! Everything needs butter! lol... Tea leaves for making Unsweetened or Sweetened tea's... Maybe add fruit and herbs to flavor the tea? HONEY! Yes... Definately Honey... Good stuff there ;)

Oh gracious! I almost forgot! After consuming all this stuff you'll have to be relieved XD Maybe implement some sort of medicinal plants, or even funguses (like mushrooms) that allow a player to heal by more natural means while first starting a new map. It would be an honest help out for new comers to mine craft. New mod, new players, new experience, dedicated mod support and potential donations ;) You're welcome :D... Port-o-potty that you can recycle your trash into fertilizer? Maybe like, throwing in an empty can or wrapper or whatever and it needs so much to be full, then you can take out fertilizer... Like 1 fertilizer for every trash, or even more; like 4 fertilizer for every 6 pieces of trash... The craziest ideas can sometimes wind up being the best... :P
