So I've been playing around with this mod for 2 weeks or so now (that's guessing from my last comment, I actually have a horrible sense of time lol) and I gotta say, I absolutely love it. I've combined it with several other mods, and the Lava Armour is a great armour to start off with.
And then the Corrosive Armour is just so awesome. I'm not sure if this has something to do with mob mods, or the armour itself, but the Corrosive Armour loses 30-ish durability per hit when a mod from the "Palaria Mod" on the MC Forums attacks me. I haven't tested this with any other mod mob as of yet. Not sure if it's on your end or Palaria's.

Yeah, the creator of Palaria told me that's supposed to happen.
Fortunately for me I have an infinite supply of Diamonds...

Well, not so much Corrosive Ore. I used up about Half a Stack making my first armour set. Time go mining...

If you're going to be mining, I suggest updating to the latest version of the mod-

http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/burning-war-mod-151-b/

It adds a certain solvent that destroys pretty much everything but wood, cobble, bedrock, and ores.

I already have update, and messed around with the solvent a bit...
There is now a giant hole in my world.

That's what the solvent does.

But now you can just pour some water into that hole and have an instant mining operation!

Sure! But if you waited for the update (coming probably next weekend), you could be one of the first people to review it with the new, awesome features! Maybe even bring a friend along to do the video...

I'm sorta tempted to download this mod... But there isn't enough info about to make me.
You need to talk about what it adds. Like, where do you find the corrosive ore? Add some more info so people will know exactly what this mod's about.

An image file to show all of the recipes except for lava stone can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?0fqkb9b4aca0d45

Corrosive ore can generate anywhere that diamond can.

Lava tools mine faster than diamond, but can't mine anything that normally requires diamond. They also have more uses.

Lava armor has more uses than diamond, but protects as well as iron.

Corrosive armor and sword work better than diamond and have more uses.

The devil's dagger kills witches in 3 hits, but can't be enchanted with an enchantment table.

Ctapie41 has a youtube channel, and the 2 vids he uploaded on this mod explain most of the stuff.

Either 16 or 18 for the corrosive sword,
10 for the lava blade,
160 for the volcanic blade,
91 for the dagger.

the dagger for me, using the health indicator mod with it, close to 40 sets of 99's = 4000+ and said the mob had -19994/6 Health after 1 hit.

1 hit? That much damage defies the source code and the tests... I have no Idea why that would happen... And it's impossible to enchant, so that couldn't be a reason...

Ah. Seems pretty cool. Just another quick question.
What's the block you smelt for the Unholy Diamond? It looks like a new Nether Ore.
Anyway, downloading.

It's basically netherrack with yellow and orange specks. Trust me, it barely looks like quartz ore. But it does look cool!
