This version is for the client (players). You can download the Lightsaber Mod Server here.

INSTALLATION - CLIENT
  1. Download & Install Risugami's ModLoader
  2. Download & Install ModLoaderMP Client
  3. Download & Install Minecraft Forge
  4. Download Light Saber Mod from here
  5. Drag the contents of the "Into .minecraft" folder into your .minecraft folder
  6. Drag the contents of the "Into minecraft.jar" folder into your minecraft.jar
  7. Delete META-INF if you haven't already
  8. Enjoy the mod!

Pretty big update.
Added Minecraft Forge to the requirements (Cry all you want about 3 extra clicks, it's a great api)
Added B1 Battle Droids. (Custom Model)
Added blue blaster bullets (crafted the same way but with a blue power crystal).
Droids and Troopers will attack each other if they are within x blocks of each other.
Added mob sounds.
Improved blaster sounds.

You now hold the lightsaber correctly before using it.
You can now retract the lightsaber.
Plays sound on left click, instead of just when you hit a mob.

Do they give off any light when you hold them? That'd be pretty awesome. Do the mobs ignite when you hit 'em?

good thing Forge has now implements its own Version of ModLoader Smp and will soon no longer Require ModLoader :D since it will have its own modloader like the normal one but yeah :P

hey, nice mod, maybe make it so you jump 4 blocks high when you hold a lightsaber and that you don't take fall damage while holding a lightsaber......just my idea :P

You should add Jedi and deflecting with the lightsaber! Also, add Darth Vader, but only 1 spawns per world! And once that 1 dies, another 1 spawns in its place, kinda like herobrine!

I commented once that the sabers looked like little stubs. I apologize for that since it was apparently bc i wasnt holding down right-click long enough to extend teh saber :3. i love the mod! diamond for you! jw tho.. knockback IX and smite V? lol

Thanks but i see how this actually may be dificult as if you dont replace a discs music you will have to recreate an icon and make a new one :l i think its hard at least lol Id love to tell youu my other idea if you reply

Right now they both attack, but I have a reputation system planned. Kill a droid gain rep with the Clones (I really need to do my Star Wars research). Something like that.
